My introduction to Sinclair Ferguson led, in turn, to my grateful discovery of William Still and Eric Alexander. I can honestly say that having listening to and read everything I could find by these men for well over a decade now, I have not been influenced more by any three preachers and theologians in the 20th Century. William Still, who is responsible for mentoring several of our great Reformed theologians and pastors, started a gathering of Reformed and Evangelical ministers in the Church of Scotland in the 70s that went by the name of, "The Crieff Fellowship." Those who gathered to these meetings met for times of preaching, teaching, prayer and interaction. In a Christ the Center interview we conducted several years ago, Rev. Alexander spoke of some of his memories from these meetings. Thanks to Tapes From Scotland, we have all of the audio from the 1973-2000 Crieff Fellowship meetings.
